barb fitting 2408-08 | 1/2" JIC Tube Plug

What is the difference between HAPS, HAS, HCPS, HES, and HRS barb fittings… No clue what the difference is…. Using it for a Hydraulic suction line coming out of a reservoir tank to a Pump. Need NPT thread one side and the barb on the other….

HAPS is a zinc-plated most commonly used.
HAS is non-plated
HCPS is a zinc-plated hose mender
HES is a zinc- plated expander
HRS is a zinc- plated reducer
