The main difference between SAE 100R1 and 100R2 hydraulic hoses is their construction: SAE 100R1 has a single layer of steel wire braid reinforcement, while SAE 100R2 has two layers of steel wire braid. This makes SAE 100R2 hoses stronger and able to handle higher pressures compared to SAE 100R1.
